[NEWS] Tohoshinki’s Line Up CDs in March

Eventually March will be the month of Tohoshinki’s projects. Have you already noticed how many projects, either it’s their own group projects or collaboration ones that are lining up already to be released in March?

We’ll see the row now:

First to be known before was Tohoshinki’s project in RAVEX. Ravex’s first album will be released on Sunday, March 11th. Namie Amuro, BoA, DJ OZMA, Tohoshinki, MONKEY MAJIK, and a special guest Maki Goto are confirmed to join in.

Songs that are already known to be included in the album are from DJ OZMA, featuring his first single “I RAVE U” and BoA comes up with “Believe in Love”. Details of songs of the other artists have not yet been announced, but to see the line up artists, this project seems to be pretty promising.

This RAVEX project is headed by a super producer team consists of Shinichi Osawa (Mando Grosso), Tanaka Tomoyuki (Fantastic Plastic Machine), and Taku Takahashi (M-Flo).

All 12 works are scheduled for this AVEX most luxurious artists’ collaboration song recording.

The album will be released in 2 different spesifications, probably CD + DVD and CD only versions. The DVD comes with a promotion video (PV) and Osamu Tezuka’s “Astro Boy” character which was created as a protege of original “RATOMU” animated shorts are also included. As you can see at Ravex’s logo, there is Astro Boy’s head as the blue background for letter “A”.

Next up, still at the same date, we have their 26th Japanese single,SURVIVOR. Survivor is releasing also on March 11th, which means not only with KAT-TUN, Survivor yet needs to beat the upcoming Ravex’s project to spot the #1 at both ORICON daily and weekly?

Or is it AVEX’s trick ever since they think it’s still impossible for Toho to beat Kat-tun with Tohoshinki’s own power as foreign group, thus they put Ravex instead to “rescue” the #1 spot from Kat-tun’s Rescue single?

Hm. Let’s just step up to March 18th now. What’s going on at that date?

The release of Subaru’s official soundtrack, “Tribute to Subaru Street Dance Hen“. The album is described as “a condensed compilation with breath of young people’s street feel”. Koda Kumi, Tohoshinki, BoA , Cheon Sang Ji Hee, Lab Tomita (Keiichi Tomita), and Daisuke “DI” Imai are confirmed to be the line up artists for this official soundtrack.

Already amazed with 1 single and 2 album in such a short span of time? However, it’s not finished yet. Continuing to March 25th. Tohoshinki’s 4th Japanese album, The Secret Code (CDJAPAN still announces it as The Secret Cord, though), will be released.

And now there’s another breaking news, that another song to be lined up as single, Brick Wall is announced to be released, again, in March.

We’ll hope Brick Wall is going to be in their Survivor single–as the second song’s title in Survivor is not yet known so far–because it’s insane for a group to have 2 single releases, 2 compilation albums release, and 1 own group album. The release date for Tohoshinki’s 4th Live Tour DVD is not yet announced, yet, I’m personally hoping it won’t be sometime in March, again.

What a plan to conquer the Japan music industry.
